try something new

Hi to all. 

well i've seen alot of people creating this blogspot i.e wan and alans bmx so i thought i'd give it 

ago and try one for myself. 

Well i've just recovered from breaking my humerous at the 1st round of the nationals at burnham. I'd been training hard over the winter with Dan and CK and in practice it showed only to crash in the 1st moto. 

But i started riding my bike about 2 weeks ago. I decided to do the regional at brixton and just roll round but being a bmx racer i cant roll round and at the end of the day came out with a win in the junior men class. 

Last weekend was my round 6 at chesterfield.  I was kind of nervous because i didn't no where i was compared with everyone else. Saturday practice went really good and my 1st straight was really good and i was snapping out most of the guys. I may may of practiced a bit to long because by then end i could hardly gate but i'll be working on my fitness. Sunday morning i was abit stiff. I had bradley in my 1st moto which was abit daunting as he was the guy who i crashed with in my 1st moto at burnham. We had a good laugh in the pens. Dan told me not to do any stupid moves and just take it easy and the main thing was to make through the motos into the finals. i won the 1st moto so that put me in a good mood. 2nd moto i had dan thorne luke tamblyn and levi ashley and we was all lined next to each other on the gate. i knew this was going to be a hard moto as they were 1,2,3 in the points s

eries. I had a decent gate and came 3rd behind luke and dan. levi hit the gate which he had been doing a lot but atleast i didnt have to worry about him lol. came 2nd in my 3rd moto so i had 2nd pic in the semi finals. 

i get more nervous in semifinals than in the actual finals. I had quite a hard semi with levi, jake, adam, alex, tippy, arron and darren. i got a decent gate and there was 4 of us all equal going

 down the 1st straight. some bar bashing so held back abit and settled for 3rd so i made it through to the main. woooooooooooooo. levi had a crash on the 1st berm with deaks and hurt his finger :(. 

in the final had gate 6. got a terrible gate but pulled it back on

 my 2nd 3rd pedal and was joint 3rd with brad going into the 1st berm. i went very wide and came out in about 6th or 7th position but managed to jump the dubs so got back to 5th. 2nd berm adam was on the outside and i was carrying alot more speed than him and i made a move on the inside but he never saw me and came across and i went straight into the side of him and crashed only to have arron curry who was behind me ride straight into my head lol. i was scared i would hurt my arm but only got a few scrapes and bruises. so i got 8th in the end but overall i felt good considering i have done no training at all since breaking my arm. 

I'm off to peterbourgh this weekend to race the east anglian regional with dan whyte so im going to check out the new track there and pick up my new wheels. 

I also got my new 08 redline frame from my sponsors  shanazereade.com so was really happy.
